The essence of time
The hands of time are most probably one of the most precious things in life that I always seem to overlook. Ever since I knew what time was and how to properly tell it (which I still have problems with to this day) I have hated it because it gave a sense of emptiness and something that seemed to waste away when nothing happened, yet it gave the sense of wholeness when I was happy and enjoying myself. Then there is the sense of time where there is abundance and a diminished supply (sorry, no other word could come to my head). When we have an abundance of time we, or I myself tend to put things aside, forget about them, and let time tick away until that moment where I don’t have time, and everything seems to go in different directions.
For me, time has taken away a lot of what I use to see in people more so than anything else. I guess, we always look back on time and see what could have been this way or that, but as I realized a long time ago, time never stops for me and for anyone else for that matter. Come to think of it, I have read a lot of stuff on time. Stuff being books and magazines and whatever. Well I know that I can not change time, and can not go back in time or forwards to change my past for future. I guess we can only make choices based on the time given to us. (lord of the rings :P) But still…time that passed and time come. To bad time can’t stand still, for just one second.
