"it's ok to not know what you want or the result of your decisions but far too often we sit and wonder about what will happen, when instead we should pursue the path and find out where it leads."

"To Risk"
To laugh is to risk appearing a fool,
To weep is to risk appearing sentimental
To reach out to another is to risk involvement,
To expose feelings is to risk exposing your true self
To place your ideas and dreams before a crowd is to risk their loss
To love is to risk not being loved in return,
To hope is to risk despair,
To try is to risk to failure.
But risk must be taken because the greatest hazard in life is to risk nothing.
The person who risks nothing, does nothing, has nothing is nothing.
He may avoid suffering and sorrow,
But he cannot learn, feel, change, grow or live.
Chained by his servitude he is a slave who has forfeited all freedom.
Only a person who risks is free.
The pessimist complains about the wind;
The optimist expects it to change;
And the realist adjusts the sails.
-William Arthur Ward, "To Risk"

What's life with out taking the risk for something more?
edit*: today, i stayed after the softball game to talk to some of the beloveders and help them out with their devo for their upcoming game. they were talking about the idea of "worrying" and the issue of "surrender" came up, and i guess it relates cause far too often we are stuck in our lives not knowing what to do or what to say when it comes to decisions and situations. Far too often we rely on over thinking about situations and getting scared. Having Faith is a risk just as any other decision that we make in life. so i figure, it's time to have faith and instead of risk, surrender and know that whatever it is, God will know the outcome, and that it is the best way cause it's His way.
i should listen to myself more often. i never take risks.
soon. when the time is right (if there is a right time) i will...
